The Practice of Ethical Hedonism and Higher Satisfaction
The cradle of earth can be a graden

Higher Pleasure
What makes a higher pleasure?
Perhaps certain pursuits or delights are objectively better. Better for ourselves or better for others. What criteria could we use to determine their value?
What could we accomplish if we focused on the quality of our pleasures?
When we demand more from our pleasures, we are forced to choose quality over quantity. If we want to drink the finest bourbon, we may only be able to afford it occasionally. We must incorporate moderation into our decadence to elevate our experiences.

Personal Value
We are trained to hold very contradictory attitudes about ourselves. If we read the comment sections, we are eviscerated by the masses, yet we are expected never to falter. We must perform confidently and balance self-esteem with humility.
And we are required to maintain this conflicting pose without stumbling.
Yet, each of us does have value.
We are valuable to ourselves.
To those that we love and those who love us.
Remembering our worth is vital to achieving our humanity.

Embracing Hedonism
The word “hedonism” often evokes the idea of excess, of gluttony. But hedonism isn’t all feasts and orgies.
Life is full of lush experiences that should be embraced instead of avoided.
Yes, one can refine themselves via deprivation or suffering, but one can also cultivate their experiences in a thoughtful way using all the tools this embodied existence offers.
Don’t focus on excesses or extremes.
Focus instead on how to live life thoughtfully and including the pleasures and textures one will experience while living a full life.
Expanding Upon Theme
This is merely an introduction to the philosophy. These sorts of things require much thought and refinement. No one solves the entire puzzle of existence, not all at once.
Embrace the evolution of concepts. You will have a richer life as a result.
Evolve the Discourse
What starts as exposition should evolve into a conversation.
It is far far better to participate than merely spectate.
We are all endowed with a specific point of view; thus, our individual perspective is valuable. We can add richness and texture to the collective view of existence by speaking our personal truth.
We already know what the vocal majority has to say. Share your viewpoint. Add your wisdom. Ask hard questions and seek honest and unconventional answers.
Think and Speak!
